Installed, worked about 2 weeks and broke. I thought I made a mistake installing it so I took it to my mechanic. Checked and said it's installed correctly. They installed an original BMW part for me. I couldn't return it as the return policy only allowed a 4 week window. So I waive the costs for this part, as well as the purchase and installation of a new original part. Plus two hours to install and an hour and a half to test if it broke. It can be said that I am not a very happy tourist. Bottom line: don't buy this junk. Get a genuine BMW part (which costs almost three times as much).
