I am very satisfied with this tester. I think some of the reviews were a bit more critical than they deserved. The fabric of the case is durable enough to withstand regular use. The zipper works fine (this is where I usually find the problem). The tester itself is great. I traced cables everywhere. Does not work with coax cable. I'm pretty sure it's the escape. The instructions are almost illegible. I had to read them several times, but it's easier than it sounds from the instructions. Just play with it and you will get the idea. Otherwise, it's one of my favorite instruments.
