The router part was awesome as long as you used the web interface and not the app. When using the application, the firmware update was not available but suddenly appeared with the web interface. As for the speaker, it was great when it plugged in and played, but most of the time it plugged in, plugged in, and... no music. I finally found that restarting the router fixes this temporarily until you change connections or use Alexa. At this point, even if the music is sent over the Bluetooth connection, it no longer works. Also, when using Alexa, there was always a delay, sometimes 5-10 seconds, before it responded and started playing. My original version of the 1 Echo responded and played immediately, but not the Lyra Voice. Also, the audio on my computer lagged behind the video by 0.4-0.5 seconds. Perhaps after some firmware tweaks and better Bluetooth response this could be ready for prime time. I've just processed my return and it's back in the box for shipping tomorrow. Btw the tech support is clueless but they tried to sell me a $200 package to fix my computer which they claimed had a lot of errors as they claimed my lyra voice was fine . The problem was in my computer, phone, tablet. Funny, they all connect perfectly and pair beautifully with $30 Bluetooth speakers, which I'm using again with no issues. ASUS needs to clean up its support home.
