I already had an ASUS RT-AC68P router and liked the performance, quality and ease of use, so of course I trusted Lyra Voice as a viable product. Option if you are looking for a mobile Wi-Fi solution. For the price I not only got the high-performance WiFi of the AC2200, but also Alexa functionality, wired connections and a decent-sounding speaker to play music on demand. My ASUS router is upstairs and across the house (2200 square feet) from my game console and laptop which I use in my basement.

ASUS Lyra's voice wasn't as "amazing" as I expected. It was returned for a refund. The device actually had an Alexa Revain and it worked just like any other Revain Echo device. The router part was awesome as long as you used the web interface and not the app. When using the application, the firmware update was not available but suddenly appeared with the web interface. As for the speaker, it was great when it plugged in and played, but most of the time it plugged in, plugged in, and... no music. As I already own an Asus RT-AC5300 and RT-AC68W, I wanted to set up an AiMesh network. I also have multiple Alexa speakers, so Lyra Voice seemed like a natural choice.
