Absolutely fits Kia Forte5 from 2.0 engine without turbo. K&N and Amazon website is wrong. However, K&N requires serious quality control on these kits. I've put on two sets now and both had the threads in a metal tube so it was burned in with paint and the plastic adapter wouldn't screw in. It also comes in about 30 separate parts. For the $300 price point, this kit should come mostly assembled with a metal adapter and standard screws (no hex head/hex key). In its current form, this kit costs $100-$150, and you have to scrape the paint off the threads. Injen makes a cold air intake for around $200, which might be a better option. In general, the car got a little faster, but this kit did not notice a big impact on gas mileage. From 2500 rpm the car is a bit louder, but not unpleasant.
