Some features require preheating (2 to 6 minutes) before use. After preheating, you have to press start again, which is annoying. Also the top and butt get very hot so be careful. It is also not possible to decrease the volume of the beeper each time the function knob or buttons are rotated. It's noisy. My kitchen is next to my bedroom so if you try to eat a deep fryer you might wake up your kid or wife. Another annoyance is that you can't regulate the temperature while you work like you can with a basket fryer. Also, she cooks well. I guess I have to get used to the functionality first.
