Very cute and very well made but they are described as cat collars but are not removable. They have a plastic clasp and squeeze to open a buckle collar found on dog collars. I never use and never will use collars without a detachable collar for my four year old because sometimes I come home and find the collar on the floor. I even found one once hanging from a window curtain with a broken window curtain. I don't think they are safe for cats. They are probably suitable for smaller dogs as they are about the size of a typical cat collar but this buckle closure is a cat safety issue and as such I cannot recommend them.
