This material is great for eva foam projects. It's very smooth and easy to shape after a lot of practice! Also great for use in forms! It dries quickly, so make sure you have a spray bottle on hand to rehydrate while you work. My designs, when fully exposed to air, dried in about 24 hours, 48 hours maximum. Projects that used molds took longer to dry because they didn't have access to fresh air, around 48 to 72 hours. When the clay frying pan keeps its shape and grows strong. But use common sense, if you're making something thin then of course it's going to be fragile. Shrinkage as the project dries is also minimal, especially when compared to other brands. Finally, this styrofoam lies perfectly on the paintwork! I didn't even use a primer before painting! (But be sure to wait until the project is completely dry before you start painting.)
