This is the BEST monocular I have ever owned. The focus area is incredibly small and large, allowing it to focus on almost anything. For example, it can focus on a computer keyboard 10 inches from the front edge of the monocular, and the field of view is roughly the same diameter as a button on the monocular. Keyboard. From 3 feet away I can see individual pixels on my computer monitor, they're still small but I can't see them with the naked eye. The field of view at 10 inches is about 3/4 inch in diameter, the field of view at 3 feet. is about 3.5 inches in diameter, field of view at 15 feet is about 2 feet in diameter. My main use is reading text on a TV screen when the TV guide is on the screen as the letters are too hard to see at about 9 feet away.
