Tool box "must have "!

I first came across these staples when they appeared in a staple set specifically designed for attaching Christmas lights. It took me a while, but I realized they're good for all sorts of things. The nice thing about them is that they have a "U" at the top that holds wire, cable or whatever. Now if I need to route the extension along the baseboard I can just nail it down with a stapler. (My construction stapler is Surebonder Model 5540Hol - "Light Tacker"). I like it when they are neat and snug. I must have bought a dozen products over the years that promise to tame the mass of wires and cables we now have in our homes. But by far the best for this purpose is this base product. The instructions have a caveat about sewing wires that have current flowing through them (you must unplug the wire first), but because the wire/cable/cord fits so perfectly into the U-section when you position the gun, I did I've never had a case where I pierced the wire. This is a very handy tool box item. I use it more than my regular electric stapler.
