Clamps only for wood

Staples work in gun, but only for soft materials. Didn't help with the project I needed. They don't stick to my siding, just the wood paneling.

Pros
  • Everything is fine!
Cons
  • Damaged

Don't go crazy with those suspenders.

I'm not crazy about these staples. They bend very easily when I try to staple them to the jaws. My original clips go in easily, these don't. The packaging also says Made in India. Maybe the metal the brackets are made of isn't the best.

  • Wow

Great Outdoor Lighting Brackets

These brackets work great. I use them for street lighting like Christmas, Halloween etc. Works with a holiday stapler I bought from Target a few years ago and a great price too! I'm sure they're great for wiring or interior lighting, but I haven't used them for that yet.

They work great in log cabin walls when the cable runs through the fibers of soft pine trunks. When it runs over the fiber, almost every shackle has at least one leg of the shackle that does not penetrate the wood and will bend, denting or tearing the cable's outer jacket and sometimes the foil…

Tool box "must have "!

I first came across these staples when they appeared in a staple set specifically designed for attaching Christmas lights. It took me a while, but I realized they're good for all sorts of things. The nice thing about them is that they have a "U" at the top that holds wire, cable or whatever. Now if I need to route the extension along the baseboard I can just nail it down with a stapler. (My construction stapler is Surebonder Model 5540Hol - "Light Tacker"). I like it when they are neat and…
