High quality metal, feels good in the hand, long enough to easily reach the bottom of large mixing glasses or jugs. The spoon itself holds about 1/8 oz of liquid, which can come in handy when you just need to add squirts and 1/4 oz is too much from other scoops. The only thing that would make this 5 stars would be if there was plastic or rubber at the very bottom end of the handle to avoid scratching or chipping the underside of the mixing glass. There are such spoons, but the ones I found are too expensive. But otherwise it's quite nice.
