I bought a new house two years ago and for reasons unknown the contractor installed two ceramic toilet paper holders that only hold one standard size toilet paper roll. Since I moved in, my paper roll has been in the laundry basket as you can see in the picture. To remove the holder, it would have to be cut out of the wall and the drywall replaced. Well yesterday I discovered this amazing inexpensive solution to my problem. I was afraid I thought it wouldn't work. As you can see from the photos it works perfectly, such a small thing to solve an annoying problem!
