Very nice mod
Base very nice mod. Although metal is more durable I would prefer plastic as it does not conduct heat like metal. The base is very close to body color and actually melted my clear protective film at the contact points. I will try adding extra padding and silicone lining the underside of the base for more insulation against hot weather but leaving gaps in the underside of the skin to allow water to drain. Despite these issues, I highly recommend it because it looks really good.
