This filter is so good it's bad
Lifespan 6-8 months. mine lasted less than 2 weeks. Why? The filter is rated for 0.1 micron filtration. My municipal plumbing is laden with rust and other debris. So this filter filtered everything out and quickly replenished any debris and blocked my water supply leaving me unpressurized. I had to throw it away to start the water in the house again. both filters lasted less than two weeks each. If you have a rusty/dirty water source, this filter will work fine for about two weeks and then fill up and stop moving water. Right now I'm using a 0.5 micron filter to see if it lasts longer.
