This case allows me to easily attach and remove my Tamron lens with little effort. It even fits in a branded drawstring pouch with the lens for added protection (see last photo). A few other cases were deemed too narrow for this lens and inverted lens hood. I plan to keep the lens around the house and while driving when this happens. I'm still looking for photo backpacks that can only carry this lens with its caps, as well as my other gear for certain bird and wildlife trips. Keep in mind that unless you're in a quality backpack with padded dividers, this is a bulky bag for separate lens protection. There's room for more padding when you need extreme protection.
