Fake junk product fits switch

It said it was a GM part but it was junk from China. I spent hours removing and installing the C5 console. Starts well after 3-4 times. Then I didn't drive the car all weekend. On Monday morning I drove to the airport to catch my flight and the counter would not start the car. I had to go to the airport. When I got back to town I had to take the car to a garage to find out what was going on. It was a new ignition switch that I installed a week earlier. The repair shop cost me $500 to install another switch because I didn't have time to do it again.
