The connection this device makes with my home WiFi router is solid and uninterrupted. I use this device to connect my work laptop to my home network because for some reason the VPN adapter on my work laptop frequently drops the connection when using the laptop's built-in WIFI. But with this TRENDnet device connected to my work laptop via the included Ethernet cable, the VPN connection stays strong throughout the day. This is a great solution for weak signals or WIFI connections! Here is a summary of the connections I use: a) The TRENDnet device establishes a reliable WiFi connection to my home WiFi router. Setup is ridiculously easy. b) The TRENDnet device connects to my laptop using the included Ethernet cable. c) My laptop's VPN adapter is very happy with the Ethernet network connection. d) I like to camp.
