These scissors are comfortable to hold, not cheap or flimsy, do not wobble when opening and closing. They're not too tight but require a good amount of pressure to open and close without feeling like they swing open. The blades have a solid construction. I'll admit I was a bit nervous about the micro notches, having had some cheap knives in the past, but they're positioned so they don't do all the cutting work and only seem to grip when you're doing something thick and need a little more energy, like a chicken in the chicken coop. They've gone through my dishwasher a few times with no side effects. I know they recommend hand washing, but I only do this with my "good" knives, so it's nice to know they can take a beating in the dishwasher. The only reason I'm giving this 4 stars instead of 5 is that it would be nice if the blades could be disassembled for cleaning.
