Review on πŸ”‹ Comimark 2Pcs BX100 Lipo Battery Voltage Tester with Low-Voltage Buzzer Alarm - Effective Monitoring Solution for Li-ion Batteries by Tyler Cash

Revainrating 5 out of 5

It looks good, but the reading is low and the alarm clock is ringing too early.

They look good and the offset works quite well. My problem with them is that at almost 2 volts (common voltage) the alarm in my RC goes off earlier than it should. Even when the alarm was set at 5.4 volts (2.7 volts per cell), the alarm went off at almost 7.2 volts (3.6 volts per cell). I wouldn't want to go below 3.4 or 3.5 volts per cell anyway, but setting it to 2.7 volts is a bit annoying. I have to keep an eye on this and can set the alarm where I can see it well, but the problem is that under load the voltage drops well below where the battery is actually at. I don't think this problem is unique to this alarm (I have another one that can't be set and doesn't have a reading and also goes off too early). Both alarms in this set are displayed very accurately (as far as I can tell they are the same and very close to the actual voltage). Another very minor downside is that it's a bit heavier than non-closed voltage alarms, but not by much.

Pros
  • Product size: 40*25*11 mm
Cons
