I bought this "rain" jacket for my son to wear in the rain. He goes outside to school no matter what the weather, including the rain, and after ONE morning in the rain his jacket is soaked, his clothes are soaked, he's soaked! If you are looking for a raincoat that your child can wear in the rain then this is not the one. It would be nice to wear clothes when going from home to car or from car to shopping etc. but no more so than in light rain. Very disappointed as it is advertised as waterproof which is clearly not the case. Do more research than me and skip this!
