First of all, this is a very well made dispenser. There are no instructions in the packaging. There are no clear markings on the distributor either. As a mechanic, place the engine at TDC on the compression stroke. I found pin number 1 on the distributor, turned it counter clockwise about 3-4 teeth and plugged it in. You need a scanner to set the time to zero. Remember that you must align the oil pump so that the manifold falls flush. I searched the internet for a distributor and saw that it was ranked #5 in the top ten distributors. What really drew my attention to rolling the dice and buying this distributor was the design. You can easily pay 400 plus for an OEM that's all plastic. The truck drives great.
