There are so many cable companies out there these days it's a little doubtful anyone would go for a total junk. or something appropriate when trying out a new brand. I agreed to try them because, to be honest, I was constantly running out of cords, especially extension cords. I wish I could say my goal was to modify my dream car, but my intentions were much more mundane. I only need power from my PSU for my components. Sometimes some of those mod cables are surprisingly bad at this simple task. Luckily these funtin cables are doing their job well...at least so far they've been providing my components with the reasonable and expected amount of power and not melting any hardware. These are really high quality cables. One of my dislikes is the battle of 6+2 pins with their 8 pin counterpart, especially in harsh conditions. Worst of all are the rib and nose ends of the protective bracket, which invariably snap off once the ends of the connectors meet. I mention this because the 6+2 pin cable ends are sealed in such a way that I had to double check that it is a solid 8 pin connector. The 6- and 2-pin ends slide and snap together so well there is virtually no risk of them falling apart before being inserted into the desired 8-pin socket. I want everyone else to join this connection type. The fit and finish of the cables is first class. On my set, the ends were securely attached to the cables with no wiggling, and I found no snags or mismatches in the braided sleeves. you are tough Very difficult! And i love it. Again, I'm not trying to change any specific alignment, I'm just moving the force, so this may not benefit everyone, but their stiffness served me well on my first use. I often have to untie the zip ties on my extension cords to keep them from snagging on fans or getting stuck in hot components. Not this one. These things are straight as an arrow, hard as a board (take my scars, manon). They will bend if you force them and won't bend if you don't. Pretty impressive actually. If they end up giving me any problems I will come back and update this but for now I really like it and would recommend them without a problem.
