Suitable for side dishes, too small for appetizers

I am a 25 year old male and weigh 155 lbs. I would say my appetite is pretty average, maybe a little above average. Ordered 7x5 and thought 9x6.5 would be too big. It's sweet and they're probably fine for side dishes, but for an adult I find them too small for a main course. However, I will leave her. I ordered 9x6.5 and they are more in line with what I had in mind. I cover them with silicone lids that I bought at IKEA when making pasta.
