My 97 year old father, who lives alone, could hardly put shoes on his swollen feet. All shoes, even slippers. I saw them online and liked that they open wide and then just close with velcro. They arrived and he called to say he had no problem getting his feet in the shoes and zipping them up with ease too. The only thing he said was that the velcro was quite stiff and he had to pull hard to open it. We're both very happy with it because we know it protects his legs. They look great and he can get dressed without the stress of putting on shoes which would tire him out and not get the day off to a good start. on the leg, depending on the daily swelling. I'm so glad they were available to him and worked out so well.
