I'm very happy with it. Yes, it's cheap stuff, that's fine because it matches their cost. I really just wanted a pair of cheap lasts to learn to skate on. Something to ensure I don't get too confused while just learning the basics. This was hard to find because I have huge hips and can never find knee pads that fit. My shoulders are also a little swollen and the elbow pads I've tried before fit but aren't comfortable. I'm 5'3" and 190 pounds. My hips are 19" and my shoulders are 14", the large size fits me pretty well. There is probably enough room on the knee pads for a 20" hip to be relatively comfortable fit. If the top strap was longer you could make it work a little more as the sleeve itself is very stretchy. Get a cheap option for chubby people who are studying. As soon as I get better I will feel better, when I spend more money on a better set, but for now it's fantastic.
