I like to buy quality tools for things I use often. I recently taught technicians how to fix outdoor power equipment. And many things. Since most engines are OHV these days, different valve spring tools are needed. The old flat headed valve spring tools just don't work. I ordered this set and it worked great. I have used it on engines from 208cc to 540cc. cm, and he didn't miss a beat. But it looks fragile. The snapping of the different sized pushrods on the threaded rod is fine, but the pushrod moves a bit. This makes centering on the valve holder a kind of three-handed operation. Once you tighten it enough that there is pressure, it works fine. I will keep looking for the best set. But if you do a lot of valve work on air-cooled OHV engines, this should work fine.
