Review on Motorcraft SP539 Spark Plug by Jason Wesley

I bought these candles for my daughter Ford Fusion 1.5L. 2015 onwards Turbo (EcoBoost) engine. I quickly realized that I would need a custom 9/16" flexible spark plug head extension assembly. I thought the spark plugs were right over the center of the head but they aren't, they are angled towards the driver's side of the car about 25 degrees so a flex head is needed. If I had known it was an unusual size I would have ordered a 9/16 6" magnetic swivel plug head along with my spark plugs, but now you know! I had a little trouble getting the old plugs out, they have they loosened up a bit, they became more difficult to turn, so i used a straw to spray a creeper around the base of the spark plugs, was patient and unscrewed them.. so as not to damage the threads on the spark plugs, remember to use a little anti- Applying seize to the threads of the new plugs Do not apply the compound to the ceramic insulator as this can short out the spark plug A drop of dielectric grease (nothing else) at the end of the spark plug boot will help prevent moisture and make removal easier next time coil pack cover.I'm glad I was able to get these spark plugs from Revain as I couldn't get them locally.The forks were well packaged and protected; I looked for 0.028" spacing; I didn't have to connect a single connector. Finally, I just want to say that be sure to order your 9/16 flex coupling, rust penetrant, anti-seize grease, and dielectric grease when you order spark plugs .My daughter's car runs great, sporadic, no code, engine error is gone!
