Motorcraft SP539 Spark Plug Review

These plugs are a replacement for the 2014 Ford Fusion 1.5 liter Ecoboost engine. I changed them at 65,000 miles instead of waiting for the recommended 80,000 service time.

I was a little skeptical as they were less than half the price the dealer was asking for a spark plug but that's the real deal! They came in a car wrapper and were indistinguishable from the old ones I took out (except they were much cleaner). I installed them on my 2014 Ford Fusion about 500 miles ago and still no problems!

I bought these candles for my daughter Ford Fusion 1.5L. 2015 onwards Turbo (EcoBoost) engine. I quickly realized that I would need a custom 9/16" flexible spark plug head extension assembly. I thought the spark plugs were right over the center of the head but they aren't, they are angled towards the driver's side of the car about 25 degrees so a flex head is needed. If I had known it was an unusual size I would have ordered a 9/16 6" magnetic swivel plug head along with my spark plugs, but now
