Die cast aluminum distributor body has a threaded boss under the crutch which secures the wiring harness and connectors. This boss was not in the same location at my original OEM dealership. As a result, the engine wiring harness is too short to reach the distributor plugs. I had to remove and discard the bracket to get the connectors on the engine harness to the connectors on the distributor harness. I would have preferred the manifold body to have a threaded bushing in the correct location, as intended by the factory, to allow the fittings to attach to the manifold body as originally intended.
