High security, low weight.
Among the U letter locks this one has the highest gold rating. Only the Kryptonite NY series performed "slightly better" in tests. but this lock weighs a lot less and looks better (no bright orange or yellow) than kryptonite. This lock is expensive but worth it if you want to deter theft. Depending on the configuration of your bike and the type of rack you want to lock it to, using a U-lock can be difficult. Don't forget to secure the tires with the extra cable. Also, don't forget to register your keys with Abus.
