So I bought this button for my 1969 VW Beetle. It works well as a horn button. This button is small, about the size of a fingertip. So I see no reason to only highlight the button when the button is pressed. You can't see it because your finger is in the way. Now I must say that the schematic presented on the web is not very good and it does not come with the product. I wasn't sure what that gear-like thing was supposed to be. Is it ignition current? Should it be a horn? Who knows? It's a horn button, so why isn't there a picture of a horn? It's basically like that connected. I'm a HVAC specialist so I know a bit about electricity and it took me a while to figure out how to wire it. NO and C prevail. Therefore, when you press the button, they turn on and transmit energy. As written on the schematic. green is negative, red is positive. I assume it's there to light the button. I gave positive feedback because it works well and I can be a bit slow. Make the gears the symbol of the horn.
