In the rain
I bought these rain ponchos for my 4 and 7 year olds. I really like them because they can be worn over bags or thicker coats. We wore them all day in the rain and our bodies stayed dry. I forgot to bring my rubber boots so my feet and shoes got wet. If you're really going to wear them in a heavy downpour, I suggest going up a size so they're longer and can cover your feet up to the wellies.
