Considering the 512GB SSD I just bought for $49, a $39 case seems ridiculous. There's nothing wrong with this case per se, but it's nothing special and doesn't have the best design for optimal heat dissipation. Installation is easy and requires no tools. Just slide off the back cover and insert the disc. Unlike other cases, there is no ledge to hold the SSD in the case, instead you simply slide a cover over it to close it. A little wobbly, but like I said, it works. The package includes two cables: USB-C to USB-C and USB-C to USB-A. Checked all speeds on the hard drive I tested. I appreciate the inclusion of two different cables and the simple overall design. Not bad, but questionable for the price.
