I have type 2c curly hair and although this product can be heavy I have found that when I apply it to freshly washed hair I just squeeze out the excess water and it apply in moderation. quantities, then it works very well. I'm very sensitive to smells and so many other leave in products are out just for the smell, this is one I'm not allergic to so I go for it. My hair is waist length, fine and thin and I use a large bunch of the product. I use prayer hands to apply it and then comb and ruffle. I then place my hair on a microfiber towel for about 10 minutes and find this to be the perfect amount and treatment for my hair.
