Review on Efficient & Stylish Hollywood Racks F1B 3-Bike 🚲 Trunk Mount Rack, Black - Securely Carry 3 Bikes! by Marco Roberson

Revainrating 4 out of 5

2,700 miles at 75 mph through dry heat, rain, snow, sleet and polar vortices

I used it to carry my bike when I have traveled across the country. When I opened the box and looked at the components I was concerned about the actual strength. Installing it on my 2006 Scion xA was very easy. I relocated the pads to get good protection against my sunroof glass and license plate cutout with the second adjustment notch. I also invested in some velcro to tie the steering wheel so it doesn't hit the glass when I hit bumps. I also used one to attach the removed front wheel to the frame (less drag, better mileage. 35 mpg at 75 mph, towing Gary Fisher's old-school heavy hardtail with winter gas). 5's Grapevine with no issues other than the steering wheel swaying in the sunroof glass which I attached with the straps mentioned above. Plus, gas mileage was incredibly low (25mpg), which was improved by moving the trunk and bike around until I had as much bike as possible in the hole the car is banging into the atmosphere at speed. Then I left and met the worst. Speed bumps in the city and whipped him around the corner, Paul Walker died several times. The rack held the bike with a single strap during these maneuvers, even though it bounced heavily. Invest in Velcro. The trunk held my bike well and could be adjusted each morning (after being adjusted for the car). The only and serious disadvantage is that the lower strap adjusters are made of plastic. I don't like pulling them that tight for fear of breaking (especially in the cold) and it questions durability. will be needed.
