Only so high: engine temperature

I bought this laser thermometer to check the temperature of my old combat weapons at competitions. After 14 shots from my Swedish Mauser, this gauge showed the barrel temperature was 104 degrees, damn the barrel only feels 104 degrees hot. good at lower temperatures
