This is a USB microphone. Don't expect a super high quality professional microphone for $52. By the way, it's easily worth $100. The microphone is very well packaged for transport or storage when not in use. The desktop stand is sturdy and heavy enough to stay in place. The shock is decent, but the entire shock system is on the small side and just tight enough for you to tolerate the vibrations. It worked well for me as I have a fairly quiet environment without much vibration. The microphone's sound reproduction was good, and the cardioid pickup pattern worked well to pick up only the sounds I wanted to capture. If you're away from your desk, this probably isn't the mount you want. Clamped onto a more flexible and manoeuvrable mount would be better. The microphone itself will work great. The construction went well. All components are solid and feel like a quality product. If you want a small desktop setup and a good recording setup. This one is worth buying.
