Review on Unleash Your Photography Potential with Davis and Sanford Vista Trailblazer Monopod by Paul Tilden

GREAT monopod for beginners

I admit I was a bit wary of the $20 monopod but this product made me happy. and optically simple: matt black, with a beautiful black foam handle. It stretches very well (I'm 6'4" and when fully stretched it's above my eye level). There are three handles for unlocking/locking. and the finish isn't "premium" at all - it feels a bit cheap to the touch - but doesn't feel like it's going to break any moment I'm sure if this item is handled roughly it may bend or be damaged but if you are soft/regular and handle it with care, everything seems fine. The leg spike is handy - there's a threaded ring to retract the pointed spike for indoor use. Nice and easy - it does the job. Attaching a camera (I use DSLRs) is quick and easy easy, and the relatively heavy cameras with long s lenses (Nikon D50 and Nikon D80) feel well attached and secure. This monopod is very light, which is a plus for portability, although a heavier monopod will jitter and vibrate reduced more effectively and improved durability. Monopod is no problem; You can't go wrong - you get more than what you pay for. Yes, the skill is just "descent" and nothing special, but certainly not junk. It comes with a very handy black zipped pouch - which I wasn't expecting, and very handy. Thumbs up.
