Review on 🌿 20X24X1 High-Efficiency Home Furnace Filter - Reusable for Sustainability by Gary Duncan

I've been using K&N filters on my cars for over 20 years so buying it was a no brainer for my home OR SO I thought. The plastic mesh covering the filter is not UV resistant. I followed all installation instructions but ANYWHERE says not to be used with UV sterilizers. For 30 days of use, I cleaned and air dried it as instructed. I wanted to put the filter back in, but found that fine particles were coming off. Upon further investigation I found that the screen holder was coming off, I cleaned it with my hand and new particles started coming off. Luckily I noticed it before it got sucked into my convolutions and cost me hundreds if not thousands of dollars. SUMMARY DO NOT USE THIS FILTER IF YOUR UV STERILIZER IS IN DIRECT CONTACT WITH IT.
