I feel like I fell into a marketing trap when I made my purchase. I already have a standard Gillette Fusion 5 blade razor and this safety razor is second to none. I've had this safety razor for a week now and it doesn't shave any better than modern razors. It looks sleek and has a "cool" design, so I give it credit for that. The razors you receive are paper thin, so they are disposable. I have coarse hair and had to press hard on the safety razor to even get a shave. I've tried grains, against grains, after the shower, in the shower, with a hot towel, and anything else you can think of. This might work if you have fine hair, but aside from looking pretty, there's a reason modern razors exist and safety razors are gone. Even if you have thin hair I wouldn't recommend this at all. Today's razors surpass all of these attributes in every category.
