Review on Cardone 40 1027 Remanufactured Domestic Wiper by Mike Meyers

Motor runs great

The wiper motor in my GMC Sierra 2000 was dying. The wipers would turn on, move a little, or maybe even spin, and then stop. This product was cheaper than any of the local stores they wanted even before the basic fee was refunded and it worked great. Installation notes: - The lever of the old engine must be transferred to the new engine. I could be wrong, but I don't think the position of the lever matters when installing on a new engine. However, I would try to leave it in the same position as it makes it easier to reattach to the gearbox. If you pull out the old motor you will find the rubber grommet around the receiver which is internally threaded (not sure when). - like a round nut surrounded by rubber). You have to transfer it to the new engine. You can use a flathead screwdriver to pry the old one out. Before connecting the new motor to the transmission, connect the wiring harness to the new motor, turn on the vehicle, and cycle the wipers on and off. Turn off the car. This resets the motor position. Now disconnect the wiring harness, connect the gearbox and proceed with the reassembly. A rebate (actually a basic fee refund) couldn't be simpler. In the form, go to the website, enter the Revain order number and date and you will receive a return label. Put the old motor in the same box and ship it. I haven't received a discount yet as I just printed the label but I don't expect any problems. I'll update when they come. Overall the engine runs great and is the best price I've found.
