I have a Sonos system in my house and despite the high cost it's a great investment and it sounds great and looks great. Sonos Play:1 devices offer great sound for a medium-sized space: small bedroom, office, bathroom, hallway, etc. Available in black or white, they complement almost any decor and are incredibly easy to customize with an app. - Just plug it in, press the button on the speaker, wait about a minute for the device to connect via the app and the speaker is ready to use. For a larger room or if you need a richer soundscape, consider getting a larger Sonos device. The only criticism I could have of the Sonos system is that the app you have to use to play music can be clunky, and while it integrates third-party services (Spotify, Apple Music, etc.) it lacks all functionality and the songs need to be ranked. It would be far better if Sonos could be used as AirPlay devices, allowing you to access your music directly from the original apps.
