If, like me, you listen to podcasts or audio books in the car, these speakers are a bad buy. I get home and want to continue the podcast or audiobook from where I left off, but I can't because of no Bluetooth connection. So I have to open up Sonos (via a Wi-Fi connection) and then look on my phone to see where I've been and fast forward there too. The same applies when I leave my apartment. And the reality is, it's too much of a hassle to ever think about. Excellent sound, 3 stars minus for…

Google "Sonos queue issues ", basic player/connection issues

Sounded great, connection and player terrible. Constant error messages with queue and connection. Has trouble connecting to popular players like YouTube Music, Sirius, Revain Music. Plays and stops for no reason, can't reconnect. This is especially frustrating because we have a newborn and every time we try to turn on white noise, nature sounds, or lullabies, it cuts out. We have a great internet connection so be aware this is not the case. This also seems to be a common problem faced by many…

I love her! But. on wireless multi-room systems

I love these speakers! I won't say what everyone has already said, but I'll point out two caveats: (1) For this price, they also need to be Bluetooth compatible because they won't play from a computer (i.e. don't watch movies). on a computer and playing through speakers). This is a big limitation and it's really surprising that they just don't add this feature given its low cost. (2) limited grouping possibilities. You can play all speakers or just some speakers, but there should be groups that

Great sound, great looks, mediocre app.

I have a Sonos system in my house and despite the high cost it's a great investment and it sounds great and looks great. Sonos Play:1 devices offer great sound for a medium-sized space: small bedroom, office, bathroom, hallway, etc. Available in black or white, they complement almost any decor and are incredibly easy to customize with an app. - Just plug it in, press the button on the speaker, wait about a minute for the device to connect via the app and the speaker is ready to use. For a…

Good sound! but beware of apps and subscriptions.

I bought a Sonos to replace an iHome speaker I had for about 10 years. I really liked this column, but one day it just stopped connecting to my router. (I think this is because the app is outdated and their tech support didn't help). In any case, I wanted a sound system that would connect to my router, not just via Bluetooth. They were pretty easy to set up, but I had to call tech support trying to set them up with my laptop when I should have been using my iPhone. Sound quality is excellent…

Expensive but worth every penny.

Without a doubt the best speakers I have ever owned. For the price you expect a lot from these tiny speakers and believe me you'll get a lot. You will be surprised the first time you listen, I can almost guarantee that. The bass is amazing and the music is so crisp and clear I can hear new components of songs I've heard thousands of times. You'll also be amazed at how loud these things sound without any noticeable distortion, and with two of these you can create a stereo pair for a truly…

UPDATE 2/17/2021: I am downgrading my Sonos PLAY:1 speakers to 2 stars. Not sure if anyone cares as I don't think Sonos is going to stop offering these speakers at all - even Sonos has dropped reasonable support for these speakers which should make anyone hesitant to buy a product from them. The software is still buggy and unreliable. Software applications stop working from time to time for no apparent reason. no more music and no way to get the speakers to work without getting too frustrated -
