Review on Dorman 49816 Replacement Spark 42025 by Tyler Gannamani

I bought a Ford F150 that had a magic spark plug repair done. The trunk was cracked and I had no idea where to buy it. I thought that was great, but in my case I didn't need it. It turned out that the Dorman insert had been installed incorrectly and the cylinder was leaking hot gases past the spark plug, causing the boot to burn and crack. The mechanic showed me the problem and I have since had a proper head repair with an insert that allows me to use the original factory spark plug and bellows. I have never installed the case and have had the case for over 30 days so I cannot return it. I'm glad to know a replacement was available. I wish I was in a hurry to buy a replacement. Please make sure the insert is installed correctly before purchasing.
