Astro Pneumatic Rivnut products are the best in my opinion. Determined by the required strength of the assembly mandrel. When looking for 8-32 threaded nuts I've noticed that several reviewers of similar 8-32 products have noted that the OD is larger than usual I've ordered from several listings on Revain and found that the Astro 8-32 pneumatic rivet nuts are 6mm in diameter Competing 8-32's are 7mm in diameter This makes for much greater holding power and/or tool holders Repeated use or careless application of too much assembly force can even break the mandrel, so the correct diameter of the threaded nut is very important. Also, Astro Pneumatic replacement mandrels are readily available should you need them drilled to ensure thread integrity.
