Review on ๐ŸŽ๏ธ Gates Blue Racing Timing Belt - T215RB: Enhanced Performance and Durability by Nale Dunn

The last strap I need for belts, hoses and pulleys

That thing is a beast! I recently had to replace the camshaft seals on my IS300 and while I'm at it I might as well do it since I'm at 220k. As you may know, you need a lot more parts than just cam seals or if you're just making a timing belt. You want to be sure you have a new belt tensioner, tensioner bearing and possibly the water pump if you haven't already replaced them. When I say it's a beast, that's what I meant. I've changed my timing belt twice already, and others can stretch just enough to slide it over the bearing and into place. He doesn't even want to think about bending over. That means it stays where it is for a long time. I had to put the timing belt back on and then put the bearing in place, screw on the bearing, screw on the belt tensioner and loosen the bolt tensioner pin. FYI, if you don't know how to replace a timing belt, leave it to the professionals. Anyway, for the do-it-yourselfer, mark everything and count the teeth between the camshaft sprocket TDC marks and make sure the new belt has zero slack on the right hand side between the intake cam and the crank. When I say no play, I mean I have to adjust the crank teeth for a perfect fit. Once it was on, I turned the crankshaft clockwise to check three times that the marks were still perfectly aligned with the 60 degree mark before replacing everything and tightening properly. won't stretch out any time soon. I'm sure I can easily reach the 300,000 mark.
