As advertised - the Asani Cargo Bag is waterproof and durable!

Bought this bag 4 weeks ago. First let me explain what we are currently using. Our Hard Top Cargo Space: My family has a hard top rack for our 2009 Honda Pilot. Our hard top rack is great and works well. However, it is difficult to store when not in use. It's big, it takes 2 people to lift it onto the roof of our truck, it takes 2 people to lift it off our truck, and finding a place to store it is a challenge. Our recent purchase of the Asani Cargo Bag: Pros: Waterproof - I wanted to test this bag out before going on a hike. I put it on our roof with 4 sleeping bags, 4 pillows and a small suitcase. I left it on the roof for 7 days. I chose a good week for testing, when the weather was not frosty and rain was expected. The results were stunning. Everything stays dry! I honestly didn't expect it to be truly waterproof. This bag proved me wrong. Easy Detachment - The bag can be easily detachable by 1 person. Don't bump or scratch our car like our own hard top trunk. That's a big plus!Available Space - This tote bag had just as much, if not a little more, space than our hard top bag. Zippers - Very strong zippers. I would not be afraid that they will break on your trip. It also has a nice flap that closes the zippers. Straps - Very easy to use and attach to the roof of your car. I wouldn't be afraid it would get out of hand. Great design. Cons: A little noisy when driving - the straps weren't hanging out. But there was some noise. I suspect it's because the bag condenses and shifts where the wind blows on it. It's not much noise, but I wanted to be fair and point that out. Maybe if I maxed the bag out to the max and stuffed it with padding, it wouldn't have as much room for condensation. I'm also the type of guy who can't fit a tent bag in the included bag. My solution, which is no big deal. I bought a very small holdall to put in there. I do the same with our tents. Now I can just hang it on a hook in my garage. Hasn't happened, but could happen - if you're hiking in the woods, driving through trees, I'd be careful not to clear too many trees. A sharp branch can tear a pouch or other soft pouch.
