I heated the wax for the suggested 3 minutes and my mug was HOT on me. Wax dripped all over my microwave which is very difficult to clean. BUT! My microwave broke and the spinning contraption stopped spinning, so it was my fault and I'm not deducting any points. Another tip: the more wax, the better. Make sure you cover the entire point, but you don't have to let the wax run down the "protrusion" of the applicator. If the wax seeps through the groin, the wax will grab more than it needs to (like the edges of your nostrils, not just the hair in them). Another tip: do not apply lotion. If your hands are slippery, the smooth plastic applicator will be very difficult to remove.
