This HP VS17E monitor came with a Pentium desktop that I've had since 2005. It has worked great and has served me well for the past 6 years. Some thoughts: * Nice, bright screen with easy-to-use buttons on the side of the monitor to adjust settings like contrast, color, and brightness. It's pretty thin for a monitor that was released in 2005. It is still considered thin. The built-in speakers aren't the best, but they definitely do the job. this desktop with this monitor and it is more than enough for normal computer surfing, email, watching videos. If the price is right ($40-$65), it's still a very good option for computer monitors.
